just about EVERY night Katie wakes up anywhere from midnight to 5 a.m. and gets in my bed.
She goes to bed for the most part with no issues, She sleep in her Dora toddler bed.

My only guess is that maybe because she likes to sleep kind of curled up and sideways...she doesn't have enough room in the bed..
I am thinking of putting a twin size air mattress in her room and see if the extra space helps...if not I give up !!

any suggestions ladies ????

Benjamin went through the same phase before Jacob was born. He used to get up two or three times during the night and come climb into our bed. At first we let him because, let's face it, I was pg and tired. Then we started putting him back in his bed and he started staying there. I hope it's just a phase with Katie.

I think the double bed will help her. Those toddler beds are so small. Benjamin has one and I am dying to get him a double but we have to wait until we move, the room is just too small for a double and a crib in it. Once he has his own room we are getting one for sure. Not only does he like to sleep stretched out all over the bed but he has major, major night terrors and can sometimes fall out of the bed because of them.

Let us know how it goes. I know sleeping all night has been a battle with Benjamin, it's always something. And now with Jacob too, well let's just say we never get any sleep in this house! LOL! Hope you get some soon. I know how frustrating it can be to be tired all the time.

I remember a similar thing with Cori. I think we didn't make a huge deal out of it, but did take her back to her bed often. It kind of resolved itself. She still comes in, but it is very rare.

I definitely feel your pain, though, Juliana has started waking frequently for some reason. Ah, phases.

I have been doing a lot of reading on night terrors...and on many nights, it is what we go through word for word !

we are on our second night on the twin air mattress....she did get in my bed late last night....but no crying or screaming was involved, thank goodness.
night terrors are horrible!
