Every day is an adventure with Mr. Max. Today we did the Susan Komen run/walk (I walked, of course ) He dumped an entire bottle of water in his lap while he sat in the stroller. When I took him out to get changed, he decided that my idea (of changing him) wasn't a very good one. He took off into the crowd of pink shirts. I followed right behind. As I got close to him, he dropped to the ground and went limp, pretending he was sleeping. If I stood still, he got up and interacted with people, but, if I started moving toward him, he "went to sleep again". It was hysterical. And, every time he would get up, he left a wet spot (from the water bottle) where he laid down.
I don't ever claim to be mother of the year. And, this story only proves that I've blown it again. But, it was pretty funny.
So what does your little one (s) do? I want to hear stories that make me believe that I'm not alone in the "not going to be nominated for MOTY" department. It's been a long two weeks. I need some fun stories. No better place to get them than from the moms.
Cecil has started to want to be a baby "like ashers mommy" and it's hilarious. We just indulge him because he isn't hurting anyone or anything and it only last a couple of minutes until he decides he is 2 again.
The other night I got a walker out for asher and Cecil remembered it and wanted to use it. So he climbed in it, got bored very quickly and decided that the walker could be used to ram into people with...so he took off running in it (pushing it along with his knees) and started yelling... I'm agonna get you mommy! over and over again until he rammed into my leg. Of corse that was the end of the walker lol...but I couldn't help but laugh.
Sam, that's hysterical. And it's reallllly cute! "I'm gonna get you mommy" says so much about his personality. ADORABLE!!! And, it makes me feel better that it's not just my kiddo doing the "things that need to be done when you're two"... Two years has gone by soooo fast!
