Hi!
After TTC 17 months, 12 of those months were with MA, I have given birth to a healthy baby girl.
I did Clomid 50mg, 50mg, 100mg, 100mg, 150mg, 100mg, 150mg and I finally responded to 200mg + trigger shot and got my BFP.
My only regret was not going to see a RE sooner (I think I was scared)--I only went because after I switched OB's, this one finally ordered a SA for DH and it came back abnormal and I was told our only hope would be for IVF w/ ICSI (think I got the abbreviation correct!). DH went on to see a Urologist and had 2 or 3 more SA's...each one was better than the last, but by the second one, it was within normal range, and by the last one, it was beyond perfect by the RE's standards.
The round of Clomid 200mg was going to be our last for a while because we changed insurance and it no longer covered MA. People always say that as soon as you stop trying things happen...that may be true, but this technically was my first time I O'd (I had a chemical with one of the 150mg rounds--but they said it wasn't a good O???), so it really was my first chance for something to happen.
This forum was a lifesaver for me! There was always someone who was able to answer a question or who had just done the same thing as I had.
Good luck on your TTC journey! I may be back when we decide to TTC again...but for now, I'm going to enjoy my lil' one. Next time I will not hesitate to make an appointment with the RE!
