Did you get pg off of it if so how long did you take it and with any side effects? I already have done 3 rounds of Clomid with no success. So we are switching to Femara this cycle. I am also on Metformin for my PCOS. Thank you in advance.

I had absolutely ZERO side effects and got pregnant the very first time I took it. The next time I tried to get pregnant I took it for 3 months with no success. I would have stuck with it longer but my first pregnancy ended in stillbirth (unrelated to TTCMA) so I was very impatient to get pg again. We did IUI with injects that time. When it's time for this baby to have a sibling I will absolutely go back to the Femara, I think it's really the best MA option out there!!!

Same for me! It worked in month 1 when I took it along with my metformin. I'm still early on in my pg, but if it wasnt for femara, I wouldnt have gotten this far!

I took femara and had an IUI and got pregnant on the second round.

Sorry to jump in so late, but I took Femara for 2 cycles and the only side effect I had was NO CM! Even though it's supposed to be better than Clomid it still really dried me up. I wasn't successful on it, but I was on the lowest dose. However, I got pg the cycle right after I stopped the Femara, so IDK if it may have somehow helped. Good Luck!!!
