Hi All!! My name is Stephanie and I'm very new to the whole TTCMA. In July DH and I will be starting our first cycle of IVF w/ PGS and we get the choice of how many embryos to transfer, the Dr. recommends two but I'm thinking maybe 3 to be safe. I was wondering for all those who can answer:

How many embryos did you have transferred?
Was it your decision or the Dr.'s?
What was your outcome?

I am in the same boat as you. Me and DH are going to our first dr appt for the Embryo stuff meaning I have a practice transfer and speak to the Nurse and a counciler on June 1st. They told me they try to transfer 2 embryos maybe more depending on the age of them. Let me know how things go for you I will be interested in knowing. This is the first time for me and DH doing this so I'm nervous and excited at the same time. Good luck with your transfer I hope it all goes well.

How many embryos did you have transferred? 1. My clinic only allows 1 if you are under 35 and have no previous issues. They will do 2 if you have had failed cycles. If you are over 35, its automatically 2, sometimes 3 if you have had failed cycles. They never do more then 3.

What was your outcome? Pregnant with triplets (one embryo split) but lost them due to an undiagnosed clotting disorder.

First FET

Was it your decision or the Dr.'s? ours but what the dr wanted as well, dr would do up to 3 on a 3day transfer
What was your outcome? pregnant with one both times

50/50 shot for us BOTH times.

sarah, how do you already know there is only one? lissy and i were talking about you tonight and i told her i have a strong feeling about twins for you. no particular reason -- just a feeling.
