I was a lurker of the TTC w/MA forum a while ago but hadn't really been around much... but anyways two weeks ago we found out our second IVF worked!!
A little history: after 1 year of TTC with no luck we went and got all kinds of blood tests, SA, I had an HSG, everything checked out fine. I had a laparoscopy, found Stage I endometriosis, but the doctor said it was SO minimal she highly doubted it was our problem. We did three rounds of clomid, two of those with IUI, still didn't get pregnant. DH and I made the decision to jump to IVF to try to maximize our insurance coverage (limited coverage).
Our first IVF cycle I had 24 eggs retrieved. Only 2 of them fertilized. We both the two embryos back at day 3, but we didn't get pregnant.
Our second IVF cycle they lowered my dosage a little and so they got only 13 eggs. They were doing ICSI, so it was going to be way better than last time. Yeah. We got a call the day after retrieval to say that of my 13 eggs only ONE was mature, so they could only ICSI one! It fertilized, but I was so angry. I called later to find out what the maturity rate last time was, and it was only 4 out of 24 that were mature, and 2 of those were dead!
In any case, the one embryo made it to day 3 and looked "really really good". We were like "Yeah, whatever."
Two weeks later I got a BFP.

I was honestly shocked. We're so freakin' happy and still a little stunned.
I just wanted to post over here to let everyone know... if anyone wants to chat with someone who's been through it, I'm always available.
