Who would you like to have in the delivery room with you?

Do they live nearby or farther away?

How many people does your hospital allow in the room?

Our hospital allowed three people. Dh was there and both of our moms. My mom came down to stay with us for a week before the birth so she wouldn't miss it. His mom was a couple hours away but luckily she made it in time.

I live about 40 minutes from the hospital and if I go into labor while my hubby is at work, an ambulance will be my mode of transportation!
The only people I want in the delivery room are my husband, mid wife and the necessary nurses needed. No one else!

I will be having a c-section for my second delivery as well, and I would only like DH in the room with me

Only husband and doula...and the Dr. when needed. I HATE the idea of students peeking in or even any relatives within a 200 mile radius "waiting around" for the baby to be born!

We plan to be by ourselves immediately after the baby is born (except for a lactation consultant at home), get a routine set up, then welcome our parents to visit when we have gotten the hang of things.

I live about 25 minutes from the hospital and I want only Dh in the room I will be having a c-section

DH will be the only one in the delivery room (besides dr and nurses). My best friend who was present at my first birth really wants to be there but will be 30 weeks pregnant and doesn't think she'll be able to make it.

We only live about 5 minutes from the hospital which is nice. Ideally, I only want DH and the Dr/nurses in the delivery room, but my mom really wants to be there too. I wouldn't mind having her, but she lives 7 hours away so she may not make it in time anyway.

Who would you like to have in the delivery room with you? Just my Husband, I love my mom to death but this is our first and I really just want it to be me & my husbands moment

How many people does your hospital allow in the room? I think for a vaginal birth they allow quite a few, i want to say like 3 or 4. For Ceserean just 1.
