Hello everyone! I haven't posted in months! I'm still not pregnant, unfortunately. But reading all the HPT + stories just brings a huge smile to my face and gives me hope! Congratulations, ladies~

I will be traveling to Italy with my husband for business at the end of the month (12 hr flight). I read somewhere that flying on a plane doesn't pose any harm to a baby, the only danger being the danger of going into labor while in the air.

But just out of curiosity... I was wondering if any of you have traveled while pregnant, and if so, was everything okay?

I have traveled at different stages in pregnancy and you are completely find.

The reason they say no flying into your 3rd trimester is mainly cuz they don't want you to go into labor on the plane! LOL

Hi, I just saw this question so I am jumping in...

I flew from Spain to the US whilst 8 weeks and the return 9 weeks pregnant. My Dr said there were no problems as long as the pg is going well. I had to wear some very heavy duty support stockings for varicose vein prevention, but apart from that no problems.

Have a great time in Italy, and imagine if you manage to make an Italian baby!!.

(The reason I flew pregnant is that we were ttc for so long that we decided that we had to continue and do usual things in the meantime and Voila!!).

That was exactly our line of thinking, too. I haven't tested this month, so there's still hope but... well, we didn't try that hard this month or anything so I'm not giving my hopes up. The second week in Italy is 100% relax time, though, so hopefully the romantic landscape will give us some luck. Thanks for your input!

We found out we were pregnant whilst on a journey, but it was a road travel......that is very romantic.........i'd say were you are now go wherever you like .....As for flight i heard you have to be careful up to the 4th month or something. And then towards the end always be careful for the little one can come whenever...

Hi there - am just popping in from the April DDC. I flew last week and will be flying again this weekend from Canada to California for business and will be 16 weeks in 2 days - no problems at all for me so far. I did find it helpful to get up and walk around at least once an hour. Have a great time on your trip!
