well I defintely need something.. my bladder disease keeps me from getting lubricated naturally so was wondering if anyone tried the stuff they sell in walmart next to the fertility stuff.. it is some lubrication for ovulation..

I was just thinking if getting that instead of the preseed would make sense.

I also need to use lubricant because I have urethritis. I ended up by pre concieve at CVS and it worked really well, didn't cause any irritation and I got prego the 2nd time we used it! Not sure what they have at Walmart but I really like the preconcieve.

i also have urethritis and everything always irritates me.. it is so nice to hear it doesn't bother you at all... I ordered the preseed and I might go pick up the preconceve as well... thank you and congrats on your pregnancy

Well, I hope one of them works for you! I once tried the ky warming and I thought I was going to die! I can't use any of that stuff! Do you have to take macrobid after dtd? That seemed to help me out quite a bit! Good luck to you!

We have never used anything. I have always been afraid it would kill the swimmers. I have considered preseed, but just haven't gone that far yet.

Have you thought about using robitussin sp?? to help with EWCM and maybe you wouldn't need a lube??

yep i take macrobid right after we dtd all the time.. besides the urethritis, I also have interstitial cycstis, pelvic floor dysfuntion.. etc.. so I need the macrobid and some lube otherwise it wont work at all.. and with out a ton of lube the pain of dtd is unbearable

Yep, before I realized I had issues I would get at least 3 UTI's a month! It was awful and then I found out what was wrong, got the meds and lube and all was better. Good luck to you!!

i feel ya. i also had to take macrobid after DTD or i would get a uti everytime! everything irritates me down there.... we used preseed a few times, but the cycle we actually conceived, we didnt use anything

Not a Graduate but I wanted to throw in that I use Microbid after too and with the Clomid it made me so dry that I had to use Preseed but I have heard some great things about Preconceive

I used Preseed early in TTC but later my OB said to use Astroglide which is just as effective but way cheaper. HTH!
