I have been discussing this on TTC #1 and am i pregnant board. I thought I would ask here too. So yesterday I thought I was about to start my period. Being on cycle day number 27 that would be very possible. I have been using ovulation sticks since about day 18 because thats when I decided to get some. I was thinking I would not be pg this month so I went ahead and bought them and had planned on using them next month. Well I got addicted to poas lol so I have been just using the OPKs. Everytime I have used them the have been completely negative. Last night I went to the bathroom thinking AF is here. I took one of those tests like normal but this time there were 2 lines, I freaked out. So today I took another one and it is BRIGHT red. I called Gyno he said it is very possible I am ovulating right now, I am so confused I don't understand. CD 27? I had a 30 day cycle last month. I am hoping I am ovulating. There has been no Bding going on for the last week because I have had the flu for a week now. I hope that tonight will be soon enough to catch the egg!! Here is a pic of my OPKs the top 2 are from last night the middle one is from this morning.

I think it's totally possible you've ovulated. I got off the pill a few months ago and had pretty regular cycles (30-35 days) and was always pretty regular before going on the pill. However, this past cycle I ovulated on DAY 37!!! And when I took a pregnancy test on day 50 (just this saturday), it was a BFP!! If you read the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility, she gives great examples of women ovulating irregularly and happily conceiving.
