I have tried to find this information everywhere on the internet but I can only find general info about tender breasts. My specific circumstance is that I always have tender breasts after ovulation until the day I get my period. I have tested + on a home pregnancy test twice and believe I am approximately 4 to 5 weeks pregnant based on my first day of last period. I don't have any other symptoms such as morning sickness yet but the last few days I have felt twinges and stretching in my abdomen but nothing for the past day or so. Today my breasts are not as sore either. My question is if I have tender breasts after ovulation, does the tenderness continue thru-out the pregnancy? I have also heard that some women don't get tender breasts or for some, it starts in week 5 to 8. I feel mine are not as sore anymore today. Could this be a cause for concern? Otherwise I feel fine and the home pregnancy test I took today was positive and my basal body temperature is still elevated. Please help! I have heard that if you stop feeling pregnant, there may be a miscarriage... Has anyone had tender breasts after Ovulation but stopped shortly thereafter??

I was tender a few weeks into the pg and then it went away and then M/S kicked in. Some people don't get many pg symptoms though too.

Mine were well beyond tender during the 2WW as they usually are, then not too long after I got my BFP they stopped hurting. It's something that comes and goes through pregnancy as they go through their own growth spurts. Some women experience it through the whole thing while others barely have any at all. It varies from woman to woman.

I usually start having tender breasts around ovulation but on a normal period cycle, it would stop just a few days before I get my period. This time it was different. They were much more sore than usual since ovulation and they still are (after a missed period and a positive test!). I'm 6 weeks pregnant now (knock on wood) and still have very sore breasts. I can't even sleep properly at night because of them . Keep in mind that every pregnancy is different - just because you are loosing the symptom of breast tenderness doesn't mean ur having a miscarriage. Your hormones are basically all over the place now and your body will react differently. Normally, if a miscarriage is occuring, you would have far more signs than just the loss of your breast tenderness. Stay positive and good luck

I am 5 or 9 weeks now (weird story) and my bbs are way sore. I have read on other sites that because it is your hormones that cause the sore bbs, it is possible for the soreness to go away and come back as your hormones fluxuate. (spell??) Also, the cramping is due to your uterus stretching. I dont know what else is going on, but hopefully this helps you relax a bit. Congrat on the baby though!

I always had tender breast a week before my period. This month they weren't sore like they normally were, they hurt and already getting bigger right at my missed period date! This is my 3rd pregnancy, with my second I didn't have the soreness. The first wasn't that bad, they were tender.
