Hi graduates,
I'm curious to find out if any of you succeeded with your BFPs while having a short luteal phase? It's my concern right now... Can you please let me know how long your LPs were? Thanks!

I had a 9 day luteal phase before getting pregnant with my son, Josiah. Then after stopping breastfeeding I still continued to have 9 day luteal phases - I was also concerned but on the 4th cycle of TTC we got our BFP. It never took me longer than 4 months to get a BFP! Good luck hun!

I think they say anything under nine may be too short. I would have to check my charts to be sure, but I think I've gotten pregnant with several of my four with only a 9 day luteal phase.

It's ironic, but now I have a 12-13 day luteal phase and I cannot get pg! But I'm thinking it's due to dh's low sperm count, which should be much better this month around.

Thank you! This is somewhat comforting... I'm trying to get my LP up by taking Vitamin B6. Last cycle it was 9 days - hoping for double digits this time around!

I had a 9 day LP. I started taking 50mg of B6 and got pregnant the next month!!!!!!! It definetely did the trick for me A short LP is one of the easiest things to correct!

Thanks! I am also worried about my LP length and have started B6 starting with this cycle in hopes of boosting it up before I TTC. Reading your posts have made me feel better about getting pregnant in the future so thank you.

I take B6 every day. I read up on it and think that's the correct way to take it. The one that you have to stop after you O is evening primrose oil

I've been charting for three months, and will start TTC this month. My LP seems to be about short, 10-11 days with 29 day average length of cycle. I take a multivitamin everyday with 35 mg of B6. After reading about B6 I added in an extra 100 mg for 135 mg/day total the day i started my last period (april 28). i'm seeing my obygn this friday to discuss my charts, but i was wondering how much B6 people are taking. i've read anywhere from 50 to 800 mg, but also read that it can be toxic in high doses.

thanks!

800mg? That's too much I think. I read that 50-200mg max is the right doze. I take 100mg.
