So I found our that I am pregnant on Friday (about 3 days ago) with out 1st after 5 and a half years TTC!! The thing is, I am not sure how far along I am. I am either 5 or 9 weeks. Heres what happened. I originally told the nurse I had my last period on 04/09/09 because I did bleed for 2 days(I normally bleed for 4-7 days). It was very light bleeding, I use tampons, not pads and I used 2 a day for the 2 days I bled. Anyways, the thing is on 03/27/09 my DH and I had an IUI with clomid. The bleeding started 13 days after the IUI. Because I thought I had AF in April, I took another round of clomid and did OPK days 9-15, which is what my Dr. said to do, and I DIDNT surge during that time. So was the april bleeding implanation bleeding? Could it have been a light period? I have an appt on 05/26/09 (about a week away) and I should find out how far along I am, however it is KILLING me having to wait and guess. What are your opinions on this?? Please help me out!

when will you have a blood test? The HCG numbers should be an indication if you dont get an u/s first. KUP

Did they do a blood test to ensure you weren't pregnant before the next round of Clomid? It could've easily been the sort of light bleeding you see in early pregnancy. Not all women get it, but it isn't uncommon either.

I took a HPT on the day the bleeding started and it was negative. So when I saw the BFN, I assumed it was negative. It would have been 13DPO when I tested.

And my Dr. says that unless there is a history of miscarriage they do not test the hCG levels, they just do the negative or positive test.
