Hi ladies, my name is Rhonda, DH is Conrad and we have a handsome little two year old Andre. I recently had a m/c at the end of March. I found out on May 30th that I am pregnant again.
My doctor had me do two sets of betas. I called today to get my results and the nurse told me my numbers, first set 111 and second set 309. However the doctor will not be in until Monday. I know they are suppose to double, but are the numbers in a good range? I had my LMP on May 5th. Any advice and input is apperciated, I am terrified to have this end in m/c again.

By the way I had them drawn on the 2nd and 4th of this month.

I really have no idea. I had betas drawn for this one, but all I paid attention to was the fact that they were good. You may want to check here:

Beta values main chart

Also, don't be surprised if your doctor calls over the weekend. Mine called me Sunday morning to tell me the results.

Good luck and let us know!!

Thank you for the chart. I guess all I can do is wait and see what my doctor says.

I dont think it matters so much WHAT your numbers are, but that they are doubling on time, which it seems that they are.

Some peoples numbers start out much slower, which means it takes longer for them to double and others have their number increase super fast and have much higher numbers. If you noticed for 21DPO ( 5 weeks) the numbers ranged from 41-1226, so having numbers in that range is great! Like i said, as long as they are increasing, that shows a great sign.
I know how scary it can be to be pregnant after a m/c . I had a m/c 3 months before i got pregnant with DD and then when i was pregnant with her, i was a nervous wreck, but i had a nice easy pregnancy with her, and i hope you have a nice easy pregnancy this time.
Congrats!

Your numbers are absolutely fine. Are they going to do further betas or just those two? Seeing them double more might give you some more comfort.

Thank you so much. I am sorry for your m/c but am happy to know you were able to have a successful and easy pregnancy after. I am hoping I can have that this time around too.

I appreciate all the ladies who took the time to respond, the support on JM is incredible!!! I tell DH the numbers and he says ok, what does the doctor think? I of course have yet to speak to my doctor which he knows, so he just drives me nuts! Ha, pregnancy hormones I am sure! Thanks again ladies, I am going to think positive, my numbers did go up so I am going to take it for what it is.

Wow we are so right up there with each other on the pregnancy. My LMP was May 1st! I had my first betas on June 4th and I'm going today for my second. I'm scared because I had a tubal reversal in March so there's a good chance it could be a tubal pregnancy. My nurse said mine is 80 so I'm scared to get the second one.
