it is the one on the left in my signature (TTC a healthy #1). I am so excited I made my very first blinkie!!!

But i still cannot figure out how to insert an image (e.g. a flower or a heart)..I found a few on the Internet and I tried to crop it and make it smaller but it turned out bad ;(

where do you find small cute images?

Great job!! That looks waaaaaay better than my first blinkie did!

Sometimes I use brushes, but I also sometimes use clipart or scrap elements. If I need a pregnancy test, for example, I might search for "HPT clipart". If they've got a white background I have to remove it to use it most of the time, and how to do that varies with each program.

What problems were the graphics giving you? Sometimes the more detailed ones just don't look good really small.

thank you! I used photoshop 7.0.

I guess the pictures I tried to use were too big and too detailed. and every time when i tried to change its color, I got one blurry picture! well, I have to keep playing around with it and try to figure it out.
I had no idea how those small pics were called. Thank you for your advice, I am going to google "clipart" from now on (I was googling "digital scrapbooking layouts"). I wanted to find a small flower to insert in that blinkie.

You can also look for scrap kits. Sometimes I use elements from them and as long as they're pretty simple they work well. DigiScrapDepot lists free scrap stuff
