I don't know hardly anything about gimp but that's all I have to make blinkies with and so far it's working ok , but I really want to make blinkies with lil pictures on them and not just text and blinkie boarders , can you do that with gimp ? If so how do you get the pic's ( or graphics I guess ) to use and are there any lesson threads showing how to do that ? Thanks .

One way you can do it is open your image that you want to use in the blinkie. Go to edit, cut. Then, go to the blinkie and go to edit, paste.

You can put pictures into blinkies in the same way as text...just make sure that you shrink it down enough. and, it's better to have the graphic over the lights/border than for it to be cut off under it, if you have to do one or the other.

I usually just google for whatever graphics I'm looking for. clip art usually looks best in blinkies, and there are lots of sites with free clip art.
