Hello, let me introduce myself. My name is Rodi (25) DH, (25) TTC our first child, and I would love to work from home. I do searches for at home jobs, but I'm afraid they are scams. Is there a really good website that is legit, and true so I can work at home. Thanks.

Hi Rodi, and welcome!!
Can you tell us a bit more about yourself? Interests, education, work background, etc.

If you're thinking of sales, scroll down to the article I found last week. At the bottom there's a website... www.dsa.org or similar. It list lots of legit companies (Avon, Discovery toys etc) that do direct sales. Maybe something there will appeal to you.

And go down through the old posts here-- there's tons of info!

Gotta go. Talk to you soon!

Hi Rodi,

I felt the same way about the "scams" but there are legitimate work from home opportunities. We looked for a home based business for over a year and a half before finding one that could be truly workded from home, and that we felt we could be feel good about. At one point we almost invested $10K into a business. You can start businesses for less than that. The business we finally decided on was less than $50, and we are so glad we didn't waste our money. It would have been so unnecessary. Be careful about things that want you to send them money before they give you the information. Information should be free, and if they are charging you money for the information, then they are doing something a little fishy.

Hope this helps with your search,
Bunny

Well, I would like something like data entry. Where I can be home, and type. I love typing. I have background in telemarketing, but I don't know if that would be good for me from home. well, maybe. I'm currently working in accounts payable, and billing for a freight company. I graduated with an Associates Degree in Digital Imaging Technology (computer graphics) and I have the programs to do graphic art or logos. That's about it.

If you enjoy doing graphics, there is definitely a market for that!! I design websites, banners and such, but my graphics skills are limited. You could outsource yourself to website designers, sell graphics from your own website, etc. I have people contact me regarding logos, but I don't do them.

If you do graphics, check out http://www.rentacoder.com

It doesn't cost coders anything to sign up, I've done quite a few projects on there and it is a safe way to do work and ensure that you get paid for it.
