Briefly about me: I was just laid off AGAIN and I'm not looking to get back into the social service field for a few years. It was too hard on me emotionally. I was browsing the Rat Race website and saw the section for courthouse and records researcher. Has anyone tried this? I live in between two counties, so getting to both courthouses is not a probably for me. Does this type of work pay decent? I am planning on getting an off-hours fast food job, but would like to do something clerical and research-wise on my own during the day. This sounds like the type of stuff I do on my own anyway in order to keep tabs on certain lawsuits and legal issues of friends who ask for my help. Any one have any experience with this type of work and the companies listed on the site? Thanks!
