Well, I'm new to JM and I'm trying my hardest to get ACTIVE! I'm found that this site is a lot more active and overall I detect so much more positivity from these boards. I'm currently expecting, so I don't know that I count in a lot of people opinions as a WAHM, but I do

I work for... well I'm unsure if I'm allowed to say, let me know if it's innappropriate to say, but I'm a Consultant for Pampered Chef. I'm not really interested in doing much business online as I'm really interested in the personal activity that comes from my job. I'm really wanting to meet WAHM who are stoked at what they do, have tips, need tips, are interested in becoming more active and better workers!

So is there anyone here???

Yep, I'm here! Welcome! My son is 8, will be 9 years old next month. I've been married for 10 years this November and have been working from home full time (45-50 hours a week) as a transcriptionist and have my own pet sitting business in which I'm the sole owner and employee of that I work part time for the past little over 3 years now. I also have 3 dogs and 2 cats and my husband works more than full time as a highway patrol officer.

I'm probably one that is more working at home due to necessity rather than the fact that I really enjoy it but it has it's benefits now and again. Daycare was becoming crazy with my husband's schedule so it has alleviated that problem, but as soon as my son is old enough I will be heading back to the rat race of working outside the home for sure. But for now it works for us and pays the bills so can't complain .

I get a good portion of my work done while my son's at school but then fit in the rest of my 3 hours or so for the day in between taking him to baseball practice, games, cub scouts and helping him with homework if needed, getting meals, etc.

Anyway, that pretty much sums up my WAH positions/ventures, hope to see you posting soon!

Welcome!

I'm Ashleigh! I sell things on Ebay and I also paint things that I turn around and sell. I paint things such as picture frames, decorative items ...

I'm staying at home while I go to school and being a stay at home mommy, and this helps me to bring in some sort of income. Daycare prices were just too much for us!

Hello and welcome! I'm a work at home mom of 4. I wanted to work from home so that I can be available for my children and because daycare prices would just be too much. I started my website helping others find a work at home job in 2007. I've done a few other things to make money in addition to my website, including Chacha, writing, forum writing, mystery shopping and data entry.

Good luck with Pampered Chef! I love Pampered Chef stuff but it's too expensive for me most of the time.

Hi! I'd love to see this board become more active. We can learn a lot from each other that we could use to succeed in our businesses.

I'm a Scentsy Consultant. I have been with Scentsy for two years and have built an amazing business. I'd love to get to know other WAHMs and bounce ideas off each other.
