My close friend works as a freelance writer. She works from her home and of lately, she is having a tough time balancing between work and life. Is this a common problem for every work from home women? Can someone give tips on avoiding this situation?
Does she have set hours for work? When I was working from home, I had to set hours. This also meant that I would not take personal calls during my work times. Sometimes my friends did not understand that because the time that I was working from home, I was not pregnant or watching a child, so therefore I had "free time" to chat all day.
We were fortunate that we had a separate room so I could to the "office" and shut the door, literally and figuratively.
