By far, getting to see my baby girl all day long! Also, there is a great work/life effective balance. When I'm WFH and on conference calls, sometimes I throw laundry in, chop vegetables and throw them in the crock pot, etc. Then there is the lack of commute. I hate waking up early and I hate commuting! Not having to dress up is wonderful but it was especially nice while pregnant. I also save money on daycare because my DD can entertain herself for short periods of time, so even though I work 8-4ish my nanny comes from 8:30 until about 2:30 or whenever she starts her afternoon nap. Finally, sometimes I work out on company time because if I have something to read for work, I'll hope on the elliptical machine and read it.
I never really can take a break because when I'm taking a break from work, I feel guilty if I'm not cleaning the house or cooking. I've lived in this area for 2 years and hardly have any friends because I never get out of the house!
