Hey Ladies,

I'm new to your board and I've been seriously considering stay-at-home work. I really despise the job I'm working now and I can't bear the thought of going back after I have my baby.

I'm not into sales and I'm thinking about data entry or medical transcriptionist work. Any of you ladies do either one of these? Mind if I pick your brain?

Are there any certifications required?

How many hours do you work per day?

Do you work weekends?

How did you find the company you work for?

Any other advice is welcome as well. Anybody out there an at-home coding specialist?

I work for Great American, but it's seasonal only. I only work about 3 months a year. I average about $10 an hour and I can work any hours I like.

Medical transcription you have to have certification to do and typically a minimum of 2 years of WAH experience. You can look into general transcription but most of those want WAH experience as well. Data entry is great, but it's hard to get into because it's very popular.

Check out Work at Home Jobs: Free Legitimate Work From Home Job Opportunities all of the jobs they have posted are legit and they're all categorized into what you want to do, from customer service to transcription to blogging, so on and so forth.

Personally I'm a general transcriptionist, I work full time at least 50 hours a week and yes I work weekends.
