So my little sister (14) got a ebay account? HOW?!?!?! I know that you have to be 18 to do it.
Well anyways not only did she get this account but she decided to bid on things and guess what she won a item 18.xx for a freaking PLAY BOY necklace. I am sitting here thinking WIH?
Anyways my mom ended up paying for the retarded thing just so her account didnt have any bad marks on it. Anyways i am kind of furious that ebay let her have it and the guy still left her bad comments after we had told him that she was 14 and it wasnt legal in the first place that she did any of this...
My sister needs a good boot camp anyone know of one?
Lol she asked us why those kids were in brat camp and she said they didnt deserve to be there that they deserved to live life... and then when i said yhea they are living life doping up on coke every day she ran off to her room ticked off
she was out 18 bucks for a fake neckalce FROM TIWAIN i dont know how to spell that but its over seas
If she has an ebay account and cannot pay for things and doesn't deserve to have one, I think she should get bad marks on it. My mom would NEVER have paid up for me. Lucky girl. I don't look forward to my boy being a teenager. Sign her up for boot camp on tv.
Jewelry for yourself, or for a friend. Breastfeeding aides, beautiful bracelets, earings and more.
I remember one Sally Jesse Raphael, where the girls were telling how they were treated on those brat camp things..
if she isn't on herperiod yet.. go for it.. if not... I seriously wouldn't even consider it.. the girls that were on their period who were forced to go, were forced to wear a tampon for close to a week. [ yes.. a week] They were not allowed to change their pads or tampons for at least a 24 hour period because this was 'teaching them a lesson'.
Yeah, a lesson in "You cannot trust any adult to take care of your basic fundamental NEEDS". No. I wouldn't send her to one that goes too far.. maybe see if any have a good rap, and see if you can contact any of the parents however...
concerning Ebay, take a look at the registration process. Sign up for a new account yourself.. and see if it says anything about agreeing to be 18 or 13. Online, the 'legal age to sign up for things without a parent' is 13.
I think this is more of an issue between mother and daughter, not necessarily for ebay. Your sister could have had more serious repercussions, but that would require going to court.. wich the judge may have to look at the sign up policy of Ebay and take into consider any ages mentioned beore signing up. If Ebay requires you to be 18, then your sister blatantly lied. Something the judge might find against. Again, this goes into the realm of the parent, IMO.
No, I don't relish the thought of a teenager either but I hope we can teach him the fundamentals of concequences after actions, no matter what the 'lie' was.. Sometimes, people just have to learn the hard way.... but bailing them out, isn't the hard way. 18 bucks is nothing... be thankful she didn't agree to pay for a vehicle for a few thousand bucks. You can also report the account to Ebay and ask that it be suspended.
oh wantedto add - she could always work hard to pay off the debt to her mom - maybe twice what it was worth, since she got in trouble.
