I had to take Alex in last Tuesday when he woke up with thick green snot only to be told it was another virus. Then we were back on Friday for his 12 month checkup. He's 18 lbs 6.5 oz (3%), 29" (25%) long, and his head is 49 cm (>97%). So, still a bobble head! Developmentally he's on track. Started crawling on all 4's just after his birthday and is pulling up on everything, favorite word is "uh-oh", and he's quite social. Ears and chest were clear, but that darn nose is still a mess. He's been sick at least once a month (often twice) since he was 3 months old. We're definitely getting his adenoids out at 15 months and hoping that helps. We also worked with the ped to create a different vax schedule that spreads out the shots. He'll only get one per month and only if he's well. We'll basically watch him and call for an appointment as soon as he's having a good day, then go in for a shot. We're waiting until after he's 2 to do the MMR, because the doc agreed that his immune system just isn't ready to fight that one.
He's got 8 teeth now (all in front) and is working on molars. We're still nursing and I'm quite proud of us for that. Though he's such a bb addict, that he may not wean until Kindergarten.
So, overall he's doing what he should, just need to get him well and keep him that way.
