4 weeks pp and all I can think about is TTC again! After all the time it took to get here I feel like I can't wait to do it again. Haylea is so sweet and the most precious thing in the world and i want more of her! LOL I know I am crazy...we said we were going to wait to TTC until she was a year (and weaned from BF) but now I don't know if I can wait that long. To make matters worse I think AF is actually on her way so that isn't helping because I keep thinking...maybe someone is trying to tell me something! Oy...

Oh I don't think you are crazy. I don't know that I was ready to TTC that early, but I know I had MAJOR TTC urges by 5 months PP. The only reason I put it off was because I wanted to just "be happy" for a while & I also wanted to let Jonah be a baby instead of the "big brother" for a while.

What makes you think AF is on her way? If you are BF it really shouldn't be...but that doesn't mean it isn't...for some women it does happen that early, but it's uncommon.

You got the fever and the only cure is more baby!

I don't think you are crazy either. Since DS was born 14m ago DH and I have done nothing to prevent pregnancy. We did not offically start TTC until DS turned 1yo but until then we were like...if it happen it happens.

BTW if you are BF exclusively on-demand and not supplementing at all then any bleeding within 56 days of giving birth is considered PP bleeding. Your chances of AF being on her way are pretty slim. I BF both my children and my AF did not return until 5-6m PP and that is actually pretty quick.

I was thinking AF was coming...yesterday I had a light red flow and hadn't had any pp bleeding for about a week and a half but today nothing so I don't know if it was AF or not. I have heard of some people getting AF regularly while ebf so I wasn't sure. It probably wasnt...but I still feel like I don't want to wait a full year to TTC! LOL We will see how I feel as more time goes by. Realistically I would like them to be at least 2 years apart so waiting is probably the best bet. Also I am not sure i can bf while on fertility meds so that might make my decision for me.

LOL... yes, you are crazy, but that's ok... you're a mommy who has lots of love to give!

No, in reality you're not crazy. You've just been given an amazing gift and can't wait for the next one! Maybe you won't need the meds this time around, that happened to a girl on the stillbirth forum, they we through numerouse treatments, then had their twins (one was stillborn) via ivf... and a year later she was pregnant naturally! God has a sneaky sense of humor sometimes!

I was going to say something similar about maybe not needing fertility meds again! Happened to a girl in my Aug 08 PR. It took them 5 years and lot of help to get pg with their Aug 08 baby ...now she is 28w pg with a little suprise! Funny how those things work sometime. But having a baby really does change your body.

And since you are only 4w PP I would count your bleeding as pp still. Do you do anything strainuious the other day, like a lot of cleaning or walking around? That can cause it.

After I had DS I had some bleeding for a day or 2 right around day 50ish after weeks of no bleeding. My OB agreed that it was not AF and since I was charting I knew I had not O'ed. Then that was it until AF finally did come back at about 5 & 12. months pp.

I think I will do meds again. For me it wasnt getting pg but the quality of the pg...follistim was to make sure i had a mature egg. And i have to be on heparin before implantation so unfortunately i cant just try on my own without risking another m/c.

He thinks I am crazy! LOL I wonder if it was hormones because I haven't been thinking about it as much as I was. I know I want more and I am a person that has to plan out everything so I think that was my problem. Now I am ok will just enjoying Haylea alone as long as possible!

You are not crazy at all! Because if you are then I am too! We want to TTC again asap! We am hoping to do IVF w/ PGD in December or January. The plan is to BF for 3 months, hopefully get my period soon after and then do IVF immediately following.
