I'm leaving Sally with her Daddy for a few hours tonight while I go to an orchestra rehearsal. It feels so weird to be doing something from my "old" life. I'm hoping I can kind of ease back into regular things again. How old do they have to get before you start to feel normal again?

About 22! JK. With Ben it took me a couple of years to really feel like me again, but I wasn't taking care of myself as well as I should have while nursing. I'm already feeling better and more like myself this time.

Yay for you getting out to do something you love. I'm sure they'll have good Daddy/Sally time while you're out. Hope you were able to relax and enjoy your "me" time. It's good for you and your family.

Get used to what you are feeling now because this is now "normal". You have to just find a balance between the old you and the new you. Of course lots of daddy/baby time will be required.

Well, the first half I was really glad to be away, and then the second half I really missed her!
