Alex had his 2 month checkup on Friday. He's growing way too fast! He's already 23 3/4 inches long (20" at birth) and 11.5 pounds. So 75% in length, 50% in weight, and 85% head circumference!! He can hold his head up straight for a little bit, can focus and track, and smiles on purpose. He's still fighting reflux, but it's getting better and so is his colic. He had to get his shots, though, and that was rough. Ben never really cried/got upset with shots. Alex screamed like a banshee! I felt so bad for him. Couldn't even watch. He got 3 shots plus the oral vaccine for the rotavirus. He had a mild fever and rotten temper through Saturday night and then woke up happy on Sunday. We did his two month pics yesterday, so as soon as I get access to them online, I'll post 'em!

Just lurking...But next time your son needs to get shots try breastfeeding him while the doctor gives the shots. My Ped suggested this when my DD was tiny and it really helped to keep her more relaxed. She still cried but not as much or as long.
