I took Sally to the doctor today after 2 days of crying like she was in pain. At first I thought she might be teething, but then I was afraid she might have an ear infection, so we got her checked out. Her ears are fine, and the doc thinks it might be teething too, because we can see a few of her lower teeth through the gums. Ugh. Poor kid. I got teeth at 4 months, and so did my brother-in-law, so I guess it's totally possible.

I think Alex may be working on some teeth, too. Ben didn't get his first until around 6 months (fine by me), but Alex seems to want to do everything early to catch up to his big brother. Hopefully Sally's teeth will break through soon and give you both some relief.

Sounds like teething to me!! Over here we are experiencing some extreme teething, waiting for the molars to burst through I feel so bad for these babies and their pain. I dont know what we would do without teething tablets!!

I've actually got both boys teething at the same time. Ben lost his first tooth on Monday and the one next to it is loose. Ay-yi-yi!

Teething tablets are great! Our neighbor suggested whiskey. Maybe for me, but not for baby.

Which teething tablets do you use? I wish I knew for sure that she was teething. She's chomping on my finger and her pacifier now instead of sucking on them. I guess this sounds like the real thing? I just wish if this is teething that she'd get the teeth already. Of course, I know there are many more to come.

Jonah has been teething for a while now. I HATE it - they come up, they go down, they come up, they go down...... grrrrrrrrr. I just wish they'd break through already! I have tried the teething tablets, but they haven't done much so far. i think perhaps the teething makes him gassy - if that is possible. Seems like everything makes him gassy though - LOL & that makes him crankier. The orajel made him make hte strangest faces & it seemed to help for a little while, but I think the sensation just distracted him for a bit more than alleviating whatever is upsetting him - if that makes sense.....

Great pic! I called my mom this afternoon because we had a really bad day with gas (out the lower end ), and my mom said it could be related to the teething. This is rough. I miss my happy baby!
