I thought I would update you all on Hamish. He was 7 months old last thursday. He has two teeth and I think he is teething again. He still has Colic and we seem to be up every hour during the night at the moment. The doctor said that he should out grow the colic soon. His eczema is getting better but has not gone away completely but we are managing it quite well, he has developed a lump which the doctor said is his gland at the back of his head that is inflamed due to the eczema. So he said not to worry about it. He says Wah Wah, Bubwa and Dadda. He loves his walker. His hair is growing he smiles alot and loves Banana and nectarines in his fresh food feeder. Still doesnt roll but sits really well and today he was sitting playing with his toys while I was washing the dishes and I turned towards him and he had moved a metre from where I put him so I watched him and he had bum shuffled to wear I found him. I was so excited. He is such a darling boy and a joy. I love him to bits.

Awwwww Where has the time gone? I can't believe how much he's grown! I love the pics in your siggy. He's every bit as gorgeous as Cerys and Campbell. Don't you love watching them figure out ways to move before they crawl? Sorry he's struggling with eczema. Alex has it too. Not fun. Hopefully he'll start sleeping through again soon. Thanks for the update! I love hearing about everyone's little ones. How are Cerys and Campbell?

Thanks for the update! All of our babies are growing up so fast. I'm glad to know he can sit but not roll, because I keep thinking Sally may be that way too, but I thought that they had to roll first.
For some reason I can't see all the pics in your siggy right now. I'll have to check back later to see your big boy!

Campbell is doing great. He will be 6 next wednesday. We are having his birthday on the 1st of September. He is allowed to invite 5 friends and all the family will be coming hopefully. He is very excited. He is now in room 3 at school. He started of in new entrants last year on his 5th birthday but due to more children starting school he was moved up a few weeks ago. He likes it in his new class. He is still sweet lil Campbell even though he is growing up fast. He is getting tall to.

Cerys, Lets see lol. She has a mind of her own and can be very stubborn. I think she is going to be the one who runs mummy raggard. She is very helpful with Hamish but occasionally questions why she has to do things for him when Im the mother lol. She loves Kindergarten and goes 3 days a week. She will be 4 in october.

Oh my goodness, your kids sound like quite the characters! LOL I am so glad to hear such nice updates - how fun! Especially after all the heartache...

I am sorry you are still dealing with colic. Jonah is a bit colicky too...although it seems to be getting better & better.

Maybe I am out of the loop - but what is a fresh food feeder? I have never heard of it.

Sounds like life in New Zealand is keeping you busy!

Beckie - a fresh food feeder is a small mesh bag that attaches to a plastic ring/handle. You can put fresh food like bananas and peaches in there for baby to chew on and kind of strain through the mesh. They love it and it's an easy and safe way (prevents a choking hazard from biting too much off a banana, etc.) for babies to eat "real" food.
