In the last week Nicholas has started saying so many words I cant get him to be quiet!! He repeats everything I say and actually says full sentences, of course only I know what he's saying. Tonight he sat in his high chair saying "Ki cat eat tater tots", well that is what I know he was saying but it sounded more like "Ki ki ki cat eeee tay tot" and then he would throw the tater tots at the cat. Last night he brought me a diaper and said, "ca ca chash" which to me meant he had "ca ca" in his pants and needed to put it in the trash. I cant believe he's already putting words together, my oldest DS didn't do that until he was almost 2. Now I REALLY have to watch what I am saying

Awwww...I love when they first start talking! What fun!! One of Ben's favorite Daddy words at that age was "sit!"...well that was his version anyway, minus the "h".

I can't wait! Sounds like so much fun. I keep telling DH he HAS to start watching his language, but he still slips up all over the place. Maybe "sit" will change his mind!

"Sit" was one of Nicks first repeats!! I called my dog an A double S today and totally forgot about Nick sitting there and all day he kept saying it over and over. Even when we went to eat at the Texas Roadhouse for lunch, the girl asked what we were going to have and he said "*****".

LMAO!! That's way funny, Rhonda! I'd have died of either embarrassment or laughter, one of the two!

The server took it very well when he said it, she just smiled and told us "Well, that's not on the menu anymore. It wasn't a big seller!"

When Brandon was 4 we went out to lunch with my DHs (extremely right wing republican conservative) grandparents. Grandpa said he was going to the restroom and Brandon said he wanted to go to, so Grandpa took him. About 10 minutes later they came back and Brandon was all smiley but Grandpa was red and looked a little nervous. He was upset with US!! He said that while he was washing his hands, Brandon went over to the guy at the urinal and told him "If you shake it more than twice you're playing with it". He thought WE taught him to say things like that. Well, come to find out it was my 16 year old nephew who was living with us. He would tell Brandon that when he was in the bathroom, so he just picked it up.
