Alex finished his antibiotics on Monday (for the bronchiolitis). Yesterday (Wed) the cough came back. It's so productive that he sometimes chokes on the mucus. Poor little guy. I feel so bad for him. Called the doc and they want us back in tomorrow. I'm sure he'll get another x-ray in the "baby squisher" (thing they use to hold him still with his arms over his head for the x-ray). So.... GRRRRRR and Sighhhh... We've had someone sick in the house since the middle of August. 7 weeks. The bad mean germs need to leave. NOW!

Thanks, ladies. And I decided to document the illness history for our family. It's been 9 weeks, not 7. Double GRRRRR!!

I need to seal our house in a bubble and nuke it to get rid of the germs.

OK, got him checked out again this morning. Another round with the baby squisher. Anyway, the double ear infection is gone and not returning (at least not right now). Doc said Alex's pneumonia is almost gone (OK he specifically did NOT use that word two weeks ago!). No more Rx meds, just some Robitussin DM to thin out the mucus until his cough goes away. He coughed up so much mucus last night while sitting in my lap that he choked. Scared the daylights out of me. I had to do baby Heimlich on him to clear it. NEVER want to need to do that again.

So, basically we're just waiting for this thing to finish running its course. Hopefully we'll have everyone well for October...
