Will officially end in 4.5 weeks. DH finally let me call for his "appointment". I can't take any hormonal bc (makes me really unpleasant) and I really can't handle any more losses. So, we're done. Consult at the end of this month and procedure on 11/13. It's weird. I thought I'd be sad about it, but I'm more relieved than anything else. This is probably TMI (who better to go there with than you ladies ), but DH hates to cover up so he's been relying on the pull out method lately. He almost didn't make it the other night, which is probably why he agreed to let me call. So anyway, that's where we are.
Oh, and the procedure is about a week before our anniversary, but we didn't get any choice in the date. Oh well...

I'm sure it's a bittersweet decision. I hear ya on the BCP issue. I can't take them either since I get all the side effects in the book, and I feel off when I'm taking them.
DH & I both agreed that after 2 kids we'll be done and he'll be getting snipped too. I'm sure your DH will be just fine. It's great that he's for all for it, and willing to make that next step. DH doesn't like to "cover up" either (as you put it) so it'll be interesting to see what we do when we start to DTD again.
Well good for you guys! My DH was supposed to have it done after Nick was born but he literally didn't have the "balls" to get it done. Good thing since we decided to try for one more I guess. From what I understand, it's relatively painless and he'll be up and around in no time at all.
