I am sure you are all sick of this crap BUT who elses can I ask?

last night I was having contractions every 10 mins I mean on the dot, one would start and i knew exactly what time it was before even looking and then I decided to try sleeping for a while and they just stopped like nothing ever happened!! is that normal? does it mean labor might start soon? I have never had contractions or labor with my other pregnancies so its all new to me and at what point do I call the Dr? at this point they will not do anything to stop my labor well they would do my c-section if I am in real labor so i hate to keep going in if it's nothing

also I noticed yesterday that my colostrum (sp) is leaking, I have ben leaking clear stuff for weeks but now its a yellowish color isn't a bit early?

Both normal! Are they real contractions that you have to breath through, or just braxton hicks? If they are real, soak in the tub for a bit and just relax to try to stop them.

I had real contractions like that (some people call it pre-labor, some people call it false labor) for about a month before Evan was born. There were 2 specific nights that I thought FOR SURE I was in labor, but nope, the contractions just stopped. If they become more fequent... every 4-5 mins, lasting 1 min... then definitly go in.

Oh and as far as leaking, I had colostrum with both kids from about 20 wks on... its so weird, but normal!

Ditto both girls. Your body is thinking it has a full term infant in there with the size of the twins in there. It is just gearing up for the big day! Having colostrum earlier is normal for subsequent pregnancies.

When I went in for the contractions I was having last week my doc said to call or go in if they got any closer then 10 mins apart and I couldnt stop them...

I would probably think the same for u if they get closer and u cant get them to stop..If u are getting them like Maddie said a warm bath..drinking water and just resting doing nothing..

They wouldn't stop them at this point? I went in for false labor with Collin at around 32 or 33 weeks. My contractions were 1.5 minutes apart, they went quickly from 10 minutes to 1.5 (maybe a total of an hour for them to get that close together). Fortunately they were only BH contractions and I wasn't dialating any. But they still gave me 2 shots and a prescription to stop all of the contractions and I had to take it easy for a week. I know that mine were brought on by working too hard physically the weekend before so try to take it easy if you can.

nope I have been told by 2 different Dr's that they wont stop labor with twins once I hit 32 weeks and i have but I dont know why they won't stop it AND if I am in labor why won't they do my c-section then? I don't know lol

Do you think they would just want to wait to see if the labor really progresses? Maybe that is why they wouldn't do a section then? How are you feeling now?
