In our resources sticky there is a list of ASL dictionaries online. Those are where I usually look first to learn a sign. This one is my favorite, because it has quicktime video of the signs. Sometimes it's hard to tell from a picture or illustration alone.
You can also go to your library and pick up an ASL dictionary, and perhaps a baby signing video. Baby signing has been a trend that comes in and out of popularity frequently, so a lot of libraries have plenty of resources even if it isn't mainstream at the moment. In most libraries, they are with the parenting books and videos!
Let us know what signs you begin with, and how she reacts to them!

Thank You, Pattyandthemoos, for my beautiful siggy!
Thank you. I have looked up some basic signs, like milk, eat, sleep, bath and can't wait to start them with her. I may go to the library tomorrow too. I am so excited and can't thank you enough for popping in the July PR!!!
