Can anyone recommend a signing video. I need something that is more interactive then a book.

"Talking Hands" was my ds's favorite as a baby/toddler. Our library had it.

Great, they have it at the library. I am having it sent to my local branch. Thank You.

Aren't libraries great?

Also, as a preschooler, my ds liked the "Signing Times" videos, but the retention of signs from those wasn't as good as "Talking Hands". He learned a lot of songs from Sign. Times, but the new signs didn't stick. They're good for entertainment, but not really as a learning tool. That's just MHO.

Caoimhe has the full set of Baby Signs videos and she loves them. She'll point to the TV and sign Monkey when she wants to watch it, because she loves the little monkeys that are on it. Her favorite episode is the Mealtime Signs. I wasn't sure a video would really teach her signs, but after only a week of watching it she picked up several new signs, and now when it's playing she will sign along with it.

I really like the Signing Time videos. We get them from the library. Jonah and I watch them together, and I do the signs with him. I've gotten a lot of ideas for what signs to do with him from the videos, but I don't use them as a teaching tool, really, just a fun activity for us to do together that incorporates signs
