Caoimhe has a set of little animal squirter toys, and she's learning to sign for them when she wants them. There's a dolphin, a turtle, an octopus, a crab, and a pelican in the set. She just splashes around with them, and throws them under the water. If anyone has any actual games to play in the tub, I'd love to hear them!
Jonah loves to play this game that he made up, where he tries to put all of his little bath toys into his bucket, then he claps, and dumps them out, and does it all over again. Which is actually harder than it sounds, because everything floats around (including the bucket) and he kind of has to chase them. He gets so determined!
We also do "Itsy Bitsy Spider" in the tub, but I don't know why. And when I'm washing his hair, he loves it when I say "tut tut, it looks like rain!" and pour the water over his head. It's from Whinnie the Pooh, when Pooh Bear is pretending to be a raincloud and he has Christopher Robin below saying "tut tut, it looks like rain!" Then I sing him the little black rain cloud song the rest of the time that I wash him. This actually started with my baby brother, I used to do the same for him!
Then there's always peek-a-boo with the wash cloth, and a crazy session of it with the towel after the bath!
