The sign of the week is cereal! What kinds of cereal does your little one like to eat? If you haven't introduced finger cereals yet, have you given baby cereal and did/does your baby like it?

Jonah loves fruity cheerios the best, but he doesn't get them often because of the high sugar content. He mostly just gets plain cheerios or kix. I was giving him the jumbo rice crispies, but those have quite a bit of sugar too! He really loved them though

When you do sign of the week, we have to find the sign and use it throughout the week?

Sort of! The sign of the week is always featured in a sticky at the top of the page. The sticky will include a picture, video, or description of the sign (depending on what I can find and use according to copyrights)

The purpose of the sign of the week is to introduce signs to Mommies who might need an idea of what signs to introduce next. It also spurs discussion about the sign, ways to use it and introduce it, and gives the Mommies whose babies already sign it a chance to talk about it and share their experiences with it as well. Some mothers choose to focus on that sign and really emphasize it, but for the most part it is just a discussion tool since a lot of mommies and babies may not be ready to introduce that particular sign.

I tend to switch the sign of the week every two weeks. I'm actually changing it today! Look for the sticky at the top of the page

Caoimhe likes the Gerber puffs best. She has tried Cheerios but she doesn't like them, she spits them right back out. I never thought of giving her Kix, I bet she would like those a little bit better.
