What new signs have you introduced to your little one lately, or what signs are you planning on introducing soon?

We're working on Pear, as Caoimhe thinks that all round fruits are called Apples, so we're learning the difference. And we have learned Thank You, Bless You, and Please, so we're working on Excuse Me now.

aw, that's so sweet that she signs bless you!!!

We're trying to learn the difference between different drinks. If he wants something in his cup, he just signs milk. But if it isn't what he wants, he throws it on the floor and gets really mad. It can be a long guessing game trying to figure out what he wants to drink.

I am also trying to teach him the sign for "gorilla" because his special stuffed animal is a gorilla. He is getting really possessive of it, and sometimes will start to freak out because he wants it. I can usually tell when that is what he wants, but my MIL has requested a sign for it so she can easily tell when he just wants to cuddle with his gorilla.

I remember you saying something about Jonah really liking gorillas, that's so cute. Caoimhe is really attached to her light-up seahorse, but we just use the sign for baby since that is what we've always called it. Now you have me thinking I should introduce the seahorse sign along with it, since she'll be getting a real baby doll for Christmas.

Is it the fisherprice seahorse that lights up and plays music? (I think it is fisher price anyway) Jonah has that same one, and he was very attached to it as a younger baby. But the batteries died and he moved onto gorillas LOL We called his seahorse "Seamore" but he didn't have a sign for it.

Oh, here's a picture of it
