All of a sudden Rebecca has become super polite, LOL! She's added some signs to her 'vocabulary' and finishes everything with a please!
Today she wanted my car key, and after pointing didn't get it for her, she started signing 'key please'. This afternoon she saw a picture of a friend's little girl, and started signing 'hi baby'... and now she's come running in with a bag of dates and is saying 'eat please'. I'm loving that she's communicating with me, LOL! And, with that, I need to go let her have some dates!!
That is awesome! I'm really working with Jonah to get him to string two signs together. He will do it, but not fluidly. That is one thing that his speech therapists are encouraging as well! I think it's cute that Rebecca says "please" after everything!
Click the blinkies!
Thank You, Pattyandthemoos, for my beautiful siggy!
We think it is quite adorable watching her ask for things... I guess the fact she pretty much gets what she asks for when she says please (except candy, and so she goes and sulks about that!) kinda gives her some encouragement to say please after everything.
