I already wrote about this, but signing I love you to my son during a quite time of night. He smiled back to me. We are just starting out. It was really slight, but I saw him sign milk the other day. Not sure he understands, but I can see he is starting to put it all together.

Rebecca gets in a really funny mood right after her nap most afternoons, and is really receptive to learning new signs, so we spend some time playing with new signs, and I have to say it's probably my favourite part of almost every day.
And, I love when she comes asking to nurse, because she has the sweetest little smile on her face when she signs 'milk please'
This isn't really one moment, but a string of moments that happen while signing. I love whenever Jonah is trying to figure out a new sign. He gets this look of determination on his face, and studies his hands intensly while he moves them, then looks at me like "is this right?" It's too adorable!
