Sorry if I'm MIA

Hi ladies! I just want to let you know that I'm sorry if it seems like I'm not posting a lot or responding very quickly. Some of you might know that my son is having some developmental issues. He is not walking or talking at 19 months old. Because of this, we have had SO many doctor's and specialist's visits. Last week alone, we had eight visits. Today we went to the hospital to have his braces put on his feet. We ended up getting castings instead, because the doctor felt they would help better than braces. That took all day, then we got home and one of the casts fell off

so we get to do it all over again tomorrow. We also have four weekly therapy sessions for him. Add into that the fact that I'm 30 weeks pregnant, and well, we see a lot of doctor type people around here LOL

I'm not trying to make excuses or complain or anything, I just want to explain why I might be scarce. I'm trying to keep up though! I will try to continue hosting, but I don't want to do a half *** job either. Obviously family comes first, so if this continues then I might have to step down. I hope this isn't the case, and that I'm able to get back on here regularly soon! I love hosting you ladies

As for the cast falling off, I am just as clueless. My jaw was stuck open for a couple hours after hitting the floor when I saw it just come right off his foot. They call him Houdini at the doctor's office now. I am not as amused as they are

Things are better with the casts. We got them fixed. but we still have several weekly appointments. I'm trying not to let it stress me out. He's made a lot of progress in a short time though... a LOT. So I know it is all worth it.

He walked a few steps flat footed for the doctor today, so that is GREAT it means the casts are doing their job, but we have to keep at it before all the bones and muscles are fully developed into their proper place. And he's saying a couple of words now, which is WAAAAAYYYYY beyond where I thought we'd be. Still a long way to go down this road, but it's amazing how far we've come in just a matter of weeks
