I'm pretty sure she thinks signing IS English at the moment (lol) so she babbles and signs anywhere we go, no matter what. The only time she doesn't is if there is a stranger she doesn't like the looks of, but then she's normally clinging to me so tightly that she wouldn't be able to sign if she wanted to!
Jonah won't really sign a whole lot outside of the home. Not even at "school" where the therapists sign to him all the time as well. They thought I was crazy, telling them how many signs he has at home etc, but then they came to observe him at home and they were really surprised at how much he communicates with signs. I was so glad they came here to see him, because he is such a different child here than he is in the classroom
