We've got pansies and tulips in full bloom right now... actually, the tulips are almost all done now! our lawn has lots of dandelions all over it!
We do talk about the flowers, and she loves the smell them... we were reading a book tonight about tastes and smells, and every time the book said something about smell she would lean over and smell the page, hehe! I think I've FINALLY succeeded at teaching her not to pick the flowers in my garden, lol.
Our dafodils are in the process of fading. The tulips are just coming up, and the cherry blossoms are in full swing up and down our street! The crocuses never quite made it this year, I dunno what happened to them! I've seen a few dandelions here and there, but it has been chilly enough on most days to keep them in check.
Jonah really notices the flowers, so I talk to him about them constantly. There is a big patch of our garden right where we take him out of the car in front of our house, so he always notices them and wants to look at them when we are going somewhere. He also really likes to look at them at the grocery store. I can't wait for the farmer's market to come back in the spring! There are a couple of growers that sell their flowers there, and last year Jonah loved helping me pick out a bundle every week. I think it was his favorite part of the trip to the market, actually!

Thank You, Pattyandthemoos, for my beautiful siggy!
Our rose bush is in full bloom right now. Bella loves it. She likes to try to smell them. She also likes the weeds that we have growing in the yard too. the ones that you blow, she try to blow them and its so cute.
Aww! Rebecca loves the dandelion 'flowers' (puffs) as well and does the same thing! Right now we've got lots of clover in bloom, and I called her to come inside (she wasn't supposed to be outside, but knows how to open the doors!!), and she started coming, stopped dead in her tracks, signed flower, bent down to pick one, smelled it and brought it to me with a huge grin on her face.
