Does your child use one sign to mean many different things that are kind of similar?

yep, lol! Bread, banana, leaf, and a couple of other things look VERY much like the same sign from her.

Jonah calls every fruit a banana, anything crunchy (cereal etc) a cracker, and any drink is milk

Bella uses the same sign for 'ball' and 'more'.

I think that some signs are so similar..my daughter speaks them, so i'm able to know.

water and mama was something that looked alike. She just recently started signing "mama" and "dada" correctly.

We've been going over animals and these are all blending in together, but again, she speaks , so i'm able to understand her, "Horse", "Cow", "Donkey", "Deer"..these are all very similar.

*sigh* She's signing in, out, and dog as all being the same thing (sign for dog), lol. I have no idea how to convince her that she needs to fix it, and it's hilarious, because when it's for the dog, she'll say dawdaw, for out she says out, and to go inside she says ide... but they're not supposed to look the same at all!
