I have a 2 yr old and only says three words...Mom, Ouch & Yucks or Shucks, not sure...anyways I was thinking of teaching him to sign. He understands everything I say to him, I just think he is stubborn and doesn't want to talk!! So my question is it easy to teach a 2yr old to sign? I don't know how to, but I have always wanted to learn and figured we could learn together! Any opinion, thoughts or suggestions are greatly appreciated!! Thanks!

the kids actually pick it up really quickly. if you start doing the motions like bringing your hand to your mouth to eat when you say eat to him he will pick it up really quick.

Ok I have a question for anyone who can answer....
Well we have Justin set up for a Speech evalutaion but its not until March 8th, so in the meantime, I am going to try some signing with him....can anyone recommend a good book or website or anything that will help me along with teaching him?

Yes, maybe this will help: http://www.lifeprint.com/
You can look for words on the left, it really helped me!

Also, http://www.signwithme.com/002_browse_signs.asp is a really good site..

Hope that helped!
