Can I be really dumb Heidi and ask what css is

Kate, CSS is a design tool for websites. Using CSS, you create code that you can use to make html pages really cool and easy to maintain!

It can be a little overwhelming at first, but if you keep at it, it does make more sense/get better, I promise

A good place for information (and its free so even better!) is at the W3 Schools--I've had some classes, but that (along with many many books ) is where I have picked up what I know.

I dont understand html because I dont even know what it is I HAVE heard of it....but dunno what it is
