Amanda mentioned needing SEO help. Well, I thought a good tip would be regarding that subject.

Tip:
The most important part of SEO is the content of the website. Do not concentrate on the keywords alone, but the unique and relevant keywords use on each individual page. In other words, the keywords that are important should be included in your content. They should be unique and relevant to that particular page. Also, avoid using these keywords more than twice. Three times maximum. Search engines consider more than this to be spamming and will blacklist the site. Meaning, they will either give you a lower ranking or remove your site completely.

Also, it is important that this content is updated on a regular basis. Content that does not change usually ends up falling in the rankings. Keeping the content fresh and unique keeps it within the top rankings.

Question:
So I typed in a few keywords for the concrete artists site...
concrete, polishing, engraving, finishing, design, staining, artist, sawing, flooring, engravers

but was wondering about if I should change them to be more specific like...
concrete, concrete polishing, concrete engraving, concrete finishing, concrete design, etc.

Does using concrete as an adjective like that count when considering, "avoid using these keywords more than twice". I initally decided not to use it as an adjective since I really wasn't sure.

You definitely want to be specific and use keywords like "concrete engraving, concrete design", but you don't want to use "concrete" too much. Use words that are unique in engraving for concrete. Like we have dentists who use invisalign, but that is too broad. we try to include their location in the keyword like "Invisalign Denver Co".

A good way to think of keywords is to look at competing websites. View their source and see what words are working for them. view their pages and see what keywords they include in their text.
