At work I have an assigned client (which is very rare for us) that would like to be able to have Doctors, staff members and others purchase and directly download her products online. She has things such as books, lectures, etc. Right now she does have an online account setup where they can purchase these items, but she has to "physically" ship them. Basically, she wants it so that don't have to wait for their purchases.

I have never really used Pay Pal to know all that they are capable of doing. Does anyone else have a quick explanation of how they work or any other suggestions I can look into?

I use Zencart and I know it does have a purchase and download option but I've never used that option. Zencart is free so you could always test out the download option before thinking about using it.

You mean she wants to deliver the goods electronically? I know Paypal can do it because I have purchased digital goods via paypal and I received a link or similar via email after payment. I've never set it up, but I am sure it cant be that difficult. Paypal is pretty straightforward and they have a pretty nice faq section. if you dont find anything on paypal's website, be sure to visit the ebay help section. Most of the people who use paypal are on ebay and they have a HUGE community of tutorials, forums, etc. Check it out here>>> LINK

Thanks, LadyViola! I will look further into PayPal. I know that allow you have purchases made and it notifies you where you then email the "purchase" to the customer yourself. She basically doesn't want to do that process. They just want it to take the customer to a page where they can download.

I will definately take a look at the look you provided.
