I am just curious. What is your routine before, during, and/or after you get busy designing websites or making your print graphics? Do you have a cup of coffee brewing? Complete silence? Etc.

My typical routine is working in small blocks of time - little bit of time while drinking my morning coffee and kids are eating breakfast, again later while nursing the baby, more during naptime, etc. Most of the work gets done late at night though when everyone in the house is asleep and it's just me and my computer

I work alot of late nights too. Even though I have an office in my house, I have 3 little ones at home with me and they dont yet understand when I say "I'm working". LOL

I am curious. Do you ladies have a separate room in the house that you use specifically as an office or is in some corner of the room?

I have an office in my house where I keep all my "work" stuff. You know, computer, printers, router, software, ink, paper and all that jazz. Hubbie even bought me an office chair just for the office. I don't allow my kids in there, but of course they somehow find their way in there from time to time. Its where I spend most of my time, although on occasion I will just grab my laptop and work in my bedroom since its more comfy. Lately though my laptop has been acting funny, so I have just been using my desktop computer in my office.

I wish I had a separate office, but we live in a small two bedroom apartment so that is out of the question. I do have a desk that I use with my laptop. Hubby is usually on the desktop unless I need to do something that my laptop can't accomplish. I suppose I am blessed with the fact that my boys don't bother me too much when I am working at night. Robert does tend to want me to hold him when he gets sleepy.
