I was wondering for those that have blog sites, did you customize your blog or use a template?

I use predone templates but mostly because I haven't learned how to write the code for it. When I did a website I did all my own.

I would love to design my own, but have no idea how

so I hve to use one of the standard ones there, and I don't like it.

For my business blog, I used just a plain black background because that's what's on my website and then just inserted my header (which I created specifically for the blog). For my personal site, I used a template, simply because I'm too lazy to change it.

Designing a blog's background is not the same as creating a website. Different kinds of layouts-and for the most part, even unique blogs still require the same layout, just inserting "unique/custom" graphics and backgrounds to make them more personalized. Websites don't have the same restrictions for layout.
